A Typical Night at Alpha

A Typical Evening on Alpha includes...

 45 minutes - Dinner

Most evening courses begin with a meal of some kind, ranging from a full dinner to a light snack.  Guests usually eat with other members of a group of 12 people.

40 Minutes - Talk

The main talk of the evening addresses a key issue relating to Christianity.  Many courses use a DVD of speaker Nicky Gumbel giving the talk, but many others use a live speaker.

1 Hour- Coffee and Small Groups

Guests often find the small group session to be the most valuable and rewarding times of the whole course.  The sessions are an opportunity to ask questions, express opinions, and to discuss the topic of the evening.  Small groups also provide an opportunity to make friends and share ideas in a relaxed and non-threatening environment.
